Collecting Cars X Tamiya 'Racing Team' Tee 2.0

For our latest T-shirt offering, we’re marking the collaboration between Collecting Cars and Tamiya in creating the ‘Limited Edition’ R/C Toyota GR Yaris model. 

This custom version of one of Tamiya’s latest designs was inspired by the iconic 1979 R/C Sand Scorcher. Itself a tribute to the ‘Baja Bug’ modified VW Beetles, the famous blue and white livery has become instantly recognisable to R/C fans down the generations. This special GR Yaris is based on Tamiya’s modern M-05 chassis, and features a lightweight semi-monocoque resin frame, with the gearbox, motor, and battery pack all positioned to give the car a low centre of gravity and ideal weight distribution.

On the front panel, the T-shirt features the Collecting Cars and Tamiya logos, as well as a ‘Racing Team’ motif that represents how our community enjoys their cars – both on and off the road. On the back, there is a fun ‘caricature’ style artwork of the Limited Edition GR Yaris.

The T-shirt is a unisex design, made from 100% US cotton, and in a medium weight 180g/m² fabric. These T-shirts are ‘print on demand’ items, so the right size should always be available.
